The Little Red Bike

Ridding a bike is something I took for granted as a child. I got my first bike when I was two and have had quite a few since. My brother was into extreme biking growing up and I did not put as many hours on it as he did but ridding a bike gave me a certain freedom. I was able to ride to friends houses to play. Never in my life did I think about what goes into ridding a bike. I just hopped on it and went.

During a recent trip to a the local thrift shop I found a little red tryicile. Honestly it was priced at a deal for ten dollars. I have seen the same kind of bike on Kijji for ten to twenty dollars more. In the store I put Lilly on it. It fit her, so we purchased it. What I didn't relies was the work I was making for myself!

To ride a bike you need to push your weight through your leg. In Lilly's sake she doesn't know how to do this. It will take a lot of patience but one day we may get there. (Or we will get her one of those bikes you can peddle with your hands)

For now we will take it one peddle at a time!

  1. Oh, it's true! Riding a bike is hard and takes a lot of muscle. I hope she gets there.
