Out of Control

       The Hubby said something last week that shocked me to bits. We where driving along and this came out of his mouth, "It seems when you don't blog things seem to go out of control in our life." It honestly shocked me. Yes, he has been supportive of my blogging BUT I never thought he noticed the God connection.

Trying A Green Thumb With My 4 Year Old

    Yes, I have successfully planted a garden and have harvested it but this spring I decided to try something different. Plant an inside green house as a science project with Lilly. Honestly planting food with your children is a great way to teach them how plants grow and where their food comes from. Growing plants is a great way to incorporate math, science and language into your child's every day life.

It's Her Birthday...

   Last week was Lilly's Birthday. She is officially 4 years old!! For us it's bittersweet because her birthday is also the anniversary of her Brain Injury. Four years ago we where told the worst news a new parent could get. Your child might not make it but she did. Every year she celebrates her birthday it's another year of blessings God has given us with Lilly.

The Love Language Of Prayer

      Have you ever really listened to an elder pray to God? It is inspiring, and humbling at the same time. This past few weeks prayer has been so hard for me. Every time I went to pray it was like this big massive weight fall upon my shoulders, mind and voice. I have huge burdens but I couldn't tell my father about them. My mother always said, "When you can't pray let others do so."
